Mark Twain was the author's pen name used for his novels. He was born by the name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens. In 1839, the family moved to Hannibal, Missouri, the Mississippi River town that provided the source material and background of some of Twain’s best-known fiction. Twain's living arrangements provided a great amount of inspiration for his writings. He also graduated from Oxford which says a lot about his work. Also he was very well known and popular amongst the British people for his work. He also wrote The Gilded Age: A Tale of Today, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, ans The Prince and the Pauper.
